What's New in 5.2.0

  • Infrastructure-only Bluetooth scoring. Room classification now scores against fixed beacons, printers and access points, and discounts phones, wearables and other visitors' devices that rotate their addresses.
  • Signal Diagnostic shows what counts. The Bluetooth feed is split into infrastructure that is used for room scoring and other signals that are discounted, and the exported report carries the same split.
  • Server-side classifier h4. Rooms without any infrastructure beacons are scored on Wi-Fi alone instead of losing points for beacons they never had.
  • Field Scanner groundwork. Protocol support for the upcoming Field Scanner puck, so survey capture can move off the phone's radios.

Installation Instructions

Before you start: Since this APK is sideloaded, you'll need to allow installs from unknown sources for your browser or file manager.
  1. Enable Unknown Sources Settings → Security → Install unknown apps → allow for your browser.
  2. Download the APK Tap the Download button above. Your browser will save it to Downloads.
  3. Install Forager Open your Downloads folder and tap the APK file to install.
  4. Grant Permissions Location and Bluetooth are required for RF discovery. Camera is optional for QR scanning.
  5. Sign in or Accept Invite Use your account credentials or paste your invite code on the login screen.
Ready to go. After setup, open the app, select a location, and start confirming assets immediately.

Accept an Invite

  1. Install Forager Use the APK above.
  2. Open the app → "Accept Invite" You'll find this option on the login screen.
  3. Paste your invite code It's in your invite email next to "Your Invite Code".

  • Android 11 or later (API level 30+)
  • Wi-Fi radio for signal detection
  • Bluetooth for BLE scanning
  • GPS / Location services: optional but improves first-pass location accuracy when available
  • Camera (optional, for QR / barcode scanning)
  • 150 MB free storage
